CANADA

END OF THE EXPEDITION
  • Location: British Columbia, Canada, marks the end of the Pacific Crest Trail and the conclusion of my Constellation Expedition. After 296 days of traveling from Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône to the Canadian border, the final segment took me to Manning Park, just a few kilometers beyond the PCT's Northern Terminus. This beautiful region of Canada is known for its rugged mountains, serene lakes and lush forests, providing a fitting conclusion to a journey that spanned three continents and countless challenges.

  • End of the Expedition: After 134 days of hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail, I reached Manning Park, where my adventure concluded. The journey from Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône had taken me across diverse landscapes, first by sea, then by bike and on foot. The achievement of completing this journey was a deeply fulfilling moment. Although the PCT ended at the Northern Terminus, I ventured a little further to fully appreciate the beauty of this remote area and going back to civilization, marking the official end of my Constellation Expedition.

  • Post-Expedition Rest: Following the completion of my expedition, I spent a few days in the Vancouver area to reflect on the accomplishment, allow my body to recover and enjoy some well-deserved rest. During this time, I could finally take a moment to appreciate the vastness of the journey and the challenges overcome.

  • Time in Victoria: I then traveled to Victoria, a beautiful city located on Vancouver Island, for a short vacation. This time was dedicated to relaxation and further reflection, before I made my way back to Switzerland, my home country, on September 25th.

This final chapter of my expedition was not only about completing the physical journey but also about taking time to process the incredible adventure I had experienced. The Constellation Expedition had come to an end, but the memories, lessons and experiences would stay with me forever.
